What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of our collective experience and we are excited for what’s ahead.

About Us

  • What we are presenting is an in-depth seminar that will teach solid suspension fundamentals for the purpose of helping potential facilitators to start (or keep growing) their journey as a safe hook suspension facilitator. This seminar will have lectures, hands on workshops, and round tables.

Attendees will receive a pass to the Ontario Suscon, which will enable them to put their new skills in practice right away with the support of some of the best facilitators in our community, as well as create networking connections to further their education.

Our goal is to hold a seminar to promote learning on a human scale, with strong consideration of neurodivergent needs.

  • This seminar is meant for anyone desiring to be a safe suspension facilitator. If you do not have any experience facilitating suspensions, the seminar will cover the basics. If you do have some experience, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge. We will be covering many topics to help students form a stronger foundation.

A requirement for this seminar is having experienced a suspension before. We believe that having a personal experience and understanding of suspension is fundamental to helping facilitate this experience for others.

  • The Suspension Seminar Intensives will be taught by a group of expert suspension practitioners from North America and Europe.

  • The Suspension Seminar Intensives will take place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Suspension Seminars suspension day will take place at one of the OSC's venues in Toronto. The Suspension Seminar classes (Days 1-4) will take place at one of the Ontario Suspension Collective's venues in Toronto or at a Conference Centre. We will provide this information to registered attendees by the end of January.

  • The Suspension Seminar Intensives run for 5 days. 4 days of in-class learning for 8 hours per day and 1 day of in-studio facilitating suspensions as a group.

    • Sunday, March 28th, 2026 – Thursday, April 2nd, 2026

  • There is a revival happening in the suspension community, both here in North America and internationally. The suspension seminars are an opportunity to learn from some of the most renowned suspension practitioners in the world. We believe we have a responsibility to ensure that the knowledge and technical skills required to safely facilitate suspensions, developed and refined with best practices in mind, are as accessible as possible for people who are interested in learning.

  • Warning: The 13 Hooks Suspension Seminar is NOT a substitute for an apprenticeship or working as part of a crew. This seminar is designed to give you the basic skills necessary to START your suspension journey. We strongly advise against new practitioners working solo. Developing your skills and being a safe practitioner requires a significant amount of time working alongside more experienced practitioners.

  • The cost to attend the 13 Hooks Suspension Seminars is $1750 CAD / $1270 USD.
